Fish with Tony

Your fishing day should be your fishing day

There is no reason every fishing experience should be identical. A complete beginner has completely different needs from somebody who has been fishing for ten years. A family with two young children needs something different again.

Tony starts with a simple question

"What would you like to get out of the day?"

The answer helps shape the whole session.

Complete beginners

You can arrive having never held a fishing rod before. Tony can provide appropriate equipment by arrangement and explain everything from the beginning.

You will learn at your own pace. No jargon. No embarrassment. No expectation that you should already know what you are doing.

Existing anglers

Sometimes somebody has been fishing for years but has become stuck. Maybe casting distance is an issue. Maybe rigs are not fishing effectively. Maybe bait presentation could improve, or the equipment is not matched properly.

Tony can watch how you fish and identify practical improvements. The idea is not simply to catch fish during the session — it is to teach something you can continue using afterwards. If you are already fishing well and chasing something bigger, see Tony's big fish sessions.

Family fishing

Fishing can be a fantastic way for parents and children to spend time together outdoors.

Sessions involving children focus on safety, fun, simple techniques, frequent involvement, age-appropriate equipment and realistic fishing. Tony has experience teaching young people and understands that different ages require different approaches.

A maximum of 4 people per party. Rates cover up to two anglers; extra adults and children are added per person, so you always see the true price up front.

Bait

Bait is charged separately and usually costs approximately £10–£20 per person. What is needed depends on the location, the fish you are targeting, the tide and the weather. Tony will confirm the bait and exact cost closer to your trip.

No catch guarantee

Fish are wild and conditions change. Tony will give you the best possible chance, but no catch can be guaranteed — you may not catch anything on the day, and this is not grounds for a refund.
