How venues are chosen

The right mark depends on the day

Tony recommends the venue after looking at the tide, wind direction, swell, season and who is coming. Exact meeting points and directions are shared with guests once a booking is confirmed — partly out of respect for the marks themselves, and partly because safety at some of them depends on getting the timing right.
